LETTERS: SERVICE TO SENIORS IS GOAL OF AREA AGENCY

To the editor:

In reference to Heidi Nieland's Feb. 8 article, "Panel to examine senior tax use," I would like to correct a statement which was printed about the type of transportation services that seniors would like to have in Cape Girardeau County.

I would like all seniors in this county to know that when I speak of personalized services for seniors, it does not mean seniors don't want anyone else in the van.

Our main concern in this agency is to serve as many seniors as we possibly can and that seniors will have services that are as convenient as possible.

Thank you for the opportunity to clarify this statement.
