To the editor:

George Bush may have coined the phrase "a kinder and gentler nation," but Jean Bell Mosley takes us there. I do so enjoy her thoughts that carry us back to those times when people were more caring toward each other and practiced love for their fellow man on a daily basis. She takes us to the little creek in back of her house, her kitchen table where she practiced her math on scraps of paper, to the orchard where she picked nature's bounty, to her front porch where she sits and admires the "hummers" and to every nook and cranny of her fertile mind.

What a blessing she is to our area. I am so glad she's back.
