LETTERS: FUND-RAISER HAS HELP

To the editor:

I would like to thank you for the article about the Kevin Lossing fund raiser which you ran April 10. This event is being sponsored by Papa John's Pizza and the friends of the Kevin Lossing family. Naturally we appreciate the publicity very much.

While numerous members of the Alma Schrader PTA are involved with publicizing this event, the PTA itself is not sponsoring it. This event is a communitywide one with individuals from many schools and businesses involved.

Union Planters Bank has set up an account for the Kevin Lossing Fund. PDQ Printing has donated flyers about the event. Papa John's Pizza is donating $3 for every large "works" pizza ordered April 14-20.

Proceeds from this even will be used to offset the many expenses the family has incurred and continues to incur during Kevin's hospitalization.

I hope you will publish this letter so that the community will realize the involvement of so very many caring individuals and will support this event.
