To the editor:

I would like to thank state Rep. Bill Foster for his efforts in regard to the National Day of Prayer. Approximately eight weeks ago, I gave Rep. Foster a letter requesting that he try to get the Missouri Legislature to pass a resolution or proclamation stating that Missouri would recognize the National Day of Prayer, which is a U.S. law. Within a week, Rep. Foster had sent me a copy of the resolution that he had proposed. Thankfully, our House and Senate passed it. I appreciate all that Rep. Foster has done, and I believe he serves his constituents well. Thank you, Mr. Foster, for all you have done.
