LETTERS: DON'T LET NIGHTMARES OCCUR WITH PASSAGE OF HANCOCK II
To the editor: Did you know that the Hancock II Amendment will likely close down three prisons and reduce our highway patrol staff by one-third? Isn't that a scary thought when already the condition of our society is haunting? Did you know that Mel Hancock is trying to remove at least $1 billion from the state budget? Did you know that your child or grandchild could be part of a classroom where class loads are forced up to 40 in a room? Quality education is extremely hard to obtain when those conditions exist. ...

Did you know that your child or grandchild could be part of a classroom where class loads are forced up to 40 in a room? Quality education is extremely hard to obtain when those conditions exist. Don't let these nightmares occur. Vote no on Hancock II, Nov. 8.
