The books were recently presented to Gaylon Smith with Rolling Readers by the store manager, Floyd Harrison. Rolling Readers is a volunteer-based, not-for-profit literacy program whose goal is to have children reading at grade level by the end of third grade. Cracker Barrel and Rolling Readers are participants in Colin Powell's America's Promise initiative. Thanks again to Cracker Barrel for its interest in children's literacy.
