To the editor:

Here is a poem from a mother's point of view for Mother's Day:

The Great Five!

They stand for happiness and little sorrow.

They stand for hope, for a brighter tomorrow.

They stand for good in every way.

I know this by listening to what they say.

Billy and Jimmy are the oldest.

They stand for leadership with definite boldness.

Janis and Scotty are next in line.

They stand for a character reflection that is indeed divine.

Freddy, the youngest of the five, stands for and intellectual awareness with demanding strive.

These Great Five are my children, mine alone.

My live for them will be forever felt and shown.

I humbly give thanks to God for choosing no other

Thank myself to be their mother.
