Thank you for honoring the life of a truly great man and teacher, Mr. Nick Leist. I am so thankful to have been a part of the legion of lives whom he touched over the years. His love for music was equaled only by the love he had for his family, his community, his friends and his students.

As a testament to his legacy, his passion for both music and the enrichment of his students' lives will undoubtedly carry on for generations to come. His life should be a shining example of what we should all strive to achieve in our own lives, both professionally and personally. I, along with all fortunate enough to know him, will miss him very much.
