This is how our government is supposed to work. Our Washington representatives and senators and our Jefferson City representatives and senators are there for us. We are their bosses. They do their best, but they are not mind readers. If we don't let them know what we want as a legislative or senatorial district or a congressional district or as a state, then it is our fault if they vote in a way we don't want them to vote.
