To the editor:
I am writing in response to Morley Swingle's error in the release of a murder weapon. I am an educator whose job would be gone if I acted with such gross negligence. His office stands for the justice system, which includes prosecuting intentional or unintentional actions that violate the law. His gross negligence in the violation of a federal gun law resulted in loss of life. Sure, someone will say that a person who wanted to kill would have gotten a gun somewhere else. But the point is he didn't have to. Swingle can get another job, but I can't get another Terry Lynn II.
