Although the school and church are legally separate, the church regards the school as a mission of the church. The idea is to provide an education grounded in Christianity, and no students are admitted unless they or at least one of their parents has made a profession of their Christian faith.

Eagle Ridge and other area parochial schools give parents a choice in education and serve a valuable role in the moral upbringing of their children. It, therefore, is only right that a religious commitment be expected.
