In reference to Ferrell Till's criticism of Tom McCanless' evaluation of Zell Miller's speech at the Republican Convention:

Till called Miller's speech a distortion of the facts, but nowhere in his letter does he point out a distortion or a misstatement of fact. His only complaint appears to be that others, including some Republicans, voted against the same bills that John Kerry voted against.

Till, like so many of the media and the Democratic Party leadership, are trying desperately to blunt the effectiveness of a very pointed and factual speech.

Miller is only one of thousands of Democrats who no longer can stand up and defend their party. They didn't leave the party. The party left them.
