To the editor:
Who will lead us into a more moral society in the future?
If we practice good morals in everything we do, the Lord will bless us and help us take care of the less important issues. Who we vote for is just one way we can practice good moral conduct.
Consider where the candidates stand on moral issues, and the choice is very clear.
Bush is not perfect -- he does have problems. But Bush puts his political future on the line by standing up for Christian principles and opposing abortion, human cloning, gay marriage, "embryonic" stem cell research.
Kerry thinks every one of these issues are OK, although his church condemns them as immoral.
He can't even be true to his church and God -- what makes you think for one second that he will be true to you as a voter?
If Kerry is elected and more immoral court rulings come down, (and they will) all those who voted for Kerry, and Christians who fail to vote, will have themselves to blame.
The choice is very clear for me -- I follow the Lord. WWJD is a very good motto.
If Kerry is elected -- I will not say shame on me -- I will say shame on you Mr. and Mrs. Christian for ignoring the very obvious evil that will take over total control of this country.
True Christians will do everything they can to prevent this from happening!
GERARD MACKE, Leopold, Mo.
