The column written by Donna Brazile and published Monday in the Southeast Missourian is astounding. I found it very difficult to believe such good news as she shared regarding monetary surpluses in several states and especially President Obama's cutting by one half the federal deficit being kept silenced. She pointed to the deficit declining yearly since 2009, and I must admit I am one of those gullible and ignorant public figures who think the deficit hasn't shrunk at all! Amazing...

Time and space prohibits my commenting on all the "good news" she shared, and I must say I was taken aback! And, she declares this to be because of national economic growth with increases in state's personal income taxes. Wow!

Finally, I agree President Obama hasn't gotten a smidgen of benefit from these outstanding accomplishments. In addition to reading the newspaper, I watch many news casts and must say, I have not seen any mention of this miracle at all.

I feel very indebted to Ms. Brazile for sharing and the Southeast Missourian newspaper for publishing this amazing information.
