Brother Borum, as he is affectionately known, has been a Baptist minister since the 1930s. He's also a frequent visitor at St. Francis Medical Center and Southeast Missouri Hospital, counseling friends and others in time of sickness and need. He also leads a worship service twice a month at the Lutheran Home. Whether friend or stranger, he is there to lend a hand with a cheerful thought or more tangible assistance.

His life of giving and caring is an example for all. He is truly a gift. It is hoped that Brother Borum can continue his work at area pulpits for many years to come.
