Best wishes for Chief Strong

To the editor:

During the past four years I have had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with Steve Strong, and in my opinion he has been an exemplary chief of police. I found him to be a a caring, open-minded and accommodating leader. His belief that all people deserve respect was reflected through his officers. My encounters with the Cape Girardeau Police Department have given me a broader and more positive perception of police officers, and that never would have been possible without Steve's philosophy of policing. Steve Strong is one officer I will never forget, and I would like to thank him for all his years of service as a police officer and wish him the best of luck, happiness and health in his retirement years.
