The photo submitted by Linda Penzel of the storm damage at Pinecrest Azalea Gardens was sad. Our Senior Adult Church group from First Baptist Church in Jackson went to Pinecrest a few weeks ago and were amazed at the beautiful dogwoods and azaleas. To see these plants in their natural setting was breathtaking. We asked Mrs. Penzel why the family worked so hard and took such good care of these plants other than "blessing others," and she replied that was the main reason plus it gives them a lot of pleasure to sit on the front porch and look out over all that beauty. We hope they can recover from the damage and will be open next year. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
