From April 25 to 28 our campus was visited by a hellfire-and-brimstone preacher named Jed Smock. I wish first to say that his message was very well correct. We are sinners deserving hell. But Brother Jed's method of preaching was all damnation, showing no love for the sinner. As a Christian I have never heard such severe condemnation without even a hint of Christ's love which drove him to the cross for our sins. I wish to appeal to all readers to understand that Christians are not all like that. And I thank the Christians on campus who took a stand to show the love of God when it was desperately needed.
