She was born March 17, 1910, near Mounds, daughter of Ira Monroe and Eva Catherine Scurlock Robinson. She married William Paul Murphy, who survives.

She was preceded in death by a sister.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. June 4 at American Legion Cemetery near Dongola.
Crain Funeral Home of Dongola is in charge of arrangements.
