Vazis, 78, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis.

Vazis had been an administration worker with Ryder Truck Lines.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Vazis of Cape Girardeau; a stepson, Mike Vazis; three stepdaughters, Donna Daleo, Denise Revis and Diane Vazis.
