MAYFIELD, Ky. -- Shyvetta Rachel Thomas, 41, of Mayfield, formerly of Mounds, Illinois, died Monday, May 2, 2016, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Massie Funeral Home in Mounds.

The funeral will be at noon at the funeral home, with the Rev. E.O. Johnson officiating. Her remains will be cremated, and the cremains will be buried at a later date in Green Lawn Memorial Garden in Villa Ridge, Illinois.
