DONGOLA, Ill. -- Norbert Eppler, 57, of Dongola died Saturday, July 26, 1997, on arrival at Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born Dec. 18, 1939, in St. Louis, son of Peter and Margaret Hoffman Eppler.

Survivors include his stepfather, Anthony Muckensturm of Belleville.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery in Belleville, with the Rev. Dennis Boss officiating.
Crain Funeral Home at Dongola is in charge of arrangements.
