FLORENCE MONROE

Florence Monroe, 94, of El Cajon, Calif., died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999. She was born Sept. 18, 1904, in Bloomfield, daughter of Edgar Huey and Carrie Monroe. Monroe was formerly of Cape Girardeau and had worked at International Shoe Co. She moved to California in 1954. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau...

Florence Monroe, 94, of El Cajon, Calif., died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999.

She was born Sept. 18, 1904, in Bloomfield, daughter of Edgar Huey and Carrie Monroe.

Monroe was formerly of Cape Girardeau and had worked at International Shoe Co. She moved to California in 1954. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service was held in California.
