Alverta Nelson Johnson, 85, died Saturday, July 19, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
