Shed on Bloomfield Street catches fire
A backyard shed caught fire at 1008 Bloomfield St. shortly before 10 p.m. Monday. Cape Girardeau firefighters arrived on the scene to discover the 20-by-20-foot building 75 percent involved, officials said. The fire did not spread to the home. The homeowner was at home at the time and called for assistance. There were no injuries, and the cause is yet to be determined...
