Kendra Eads of Cape Girardeau completed a master's in social work at Saint Louis University. Eads is employed as director of the child advocacy center at Beacon Health Center.
Lisa Baker completed a family nurse practitioner degree at Saint Louis University. Baker is employed with Beacon Health Center.
Nina Scheibe of Cape Girardeau will perform at Carnegie Hall on March 26. Scheibe plays bassoon for the University of Kansas wind ensemble, and will be performing "In the Shadow of No Towers" by Mohammed Fairouz.
Jackson Urhahn of Bentonville, Ark., will march in the Tournament of Roses Parade on Jan. 1 in Pasadena, Calif. Urhahn was selected for membership in the Music for All Bands of America Honor Band. Urhahn is the son of Brad and Leslee Urhahn of Bentonville, and the grandson of Gib and Elvira Urhahn of Jackson.
Avery J. Welker of Perryville, Mo., was named to the President's Honor Roll at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo., for the fall 2012 trimester. Welker maintained a 4.0 grade-point average.
