Fred Lynch
Fred Lynch retired in 2018 after capturing images for the Southeast Missourian since 1975, in that time moving from black-and-white to color, from film to digital and to video. The blog title is a nod to an earlier era of news photography and the 4x5 Speed Graphic: It's more important to be there for the shot than to worry about technical details.

Your catch cooked at the Town Plaza Cafeteria

G.D. Fronabarger took these pictures in the early 1960s.

DeLayne's Shop, a ladies wear store, can be seen in the Town Plaza. The shop opened March 23, 1961 next to the Arcade and the Town Plaza Cafeteria, Gambles and Woolworth's.

Mr. and Mrs. Thad Bullock purchased the Town Plaza Cafeteria July 3, 1962. They continued to operate the Bullock Piano salon in the Arcade building of Town Plaza in conjunction with the cafeteria.
