Harold Schott of Cape Girardeau carded a hole-in-one at Kimbeland C.C. Schott used a 4-iron to ace No. 6, a par 3 playing 160 yards. The hole-in-one was the eighth in Schott's career. Witnesses were Ed Esicar, Gordon Feeney and Clay Hunter.
