AREA BRIEFS: HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL LEAGUE FORMING
The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor a High School Girls Basketball League for girls in grades 9-12. The league will be played on Thursday evenings and is scheduled to begin June 1. Registration fee is $175 per team. There will be as many as three divisions: varsity, junior varsity and freshmen.
