To the editor: I just read a Fox News story titled "Clinton: Bush Plowing Uzi's Worth of Bullets Into McCain-Palin Ticket." If you needed any proof, this shows how out of touch and power hungry Hillary and Bill Clinton are. I just read a Fox News story titled "Clinton: Bush Plowing Uzi's Worth of Bullets Into McCain-Palin Ticket." If you needed any proof, this shows how out of touch and power hungry Hillary and Bill Clinton are. In Bill Clinton's words, "The administration keeps plowing an Uzi's worth of bullets into the McCain-Palin ticket every time they have something else go wrong." Clinton told an evening rally of several hundred people, "It's good politics for us." This just about says it all for the Clintons. They thrive on greed and power. Never mind what is good for the country. For it to be good for the Clintons, it has to be good for the party and, ultimately, really good for them.

I'm sorry to say this mindset of making the opposing party look bad has taken priority over what we send our elected officials to Washington to do: the will of the people, not the will of the party. Our politicians need work together as fellow Americans to solve our problems, putting the good of the people first and political ambitions second. We live in the greatest nation on earth, and each of us should thank God every day for giving us that opportunity. Instead of getting up in the morning and listening to what the media want you to believe, just look out your window and see firsthand the great day ahead of you.
