Limbaugh's evolution
Wow! That's real progress. In the past, David Limbaugh has deemed President Obama a totalitarian communist of the Marxist-Leninist variety. But now, according to a recent column. He refers to the president as merely practicing mainstream, American as apple pie, "crony capitalism." I don't know what led to the evolution of David's thinking but I sure am relieved and happy for him and, frankly, me.
Prisoner exchange
The president told reporters today that he makes no apology for the prisoner exchange that he authorized without any notice to congress. Big surprise; when has this president ever apologized for any of the outrageous actions he has taken? He continually thumbs his nose at Congress and at the American people. He also minimizes any possible negative effect that might result from his release of five of Gitmo's worst terrorists. He is both irresponsible in his actions and uncaring in his attitude. He pretends to care, but always about things that are negative for America. How on earth did the American people elect this anti-American socialist twice?
Rust's beard
Southeast Missourian subscribers were likely shocked to read Gary Rust's public confession that he has grown a beard. However, I can assure you that there is no need to worry. Mr. Rust's beard is short and neatly trimmed. Therefore, there is no credible reason for concern that in the eyes of Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity he might be considered suspect.

Science of polls
Those of you who complain about the lack of scientific sampling and validity of the Southeast Missourian's polls should just shut up. First of all, the paper has often published that its poll results are not scientifically valid. Besides that, remember those pre-presidential election Republican polls, the predictions of Dick Morris and the more than mini-meltdown on Fox of the so-called architect, Karl Rove?
Defeat sealed
The defeat of Republican Majority Leader Eric Cantor by an unknown tea party candidate spells the near term death of immigration reform and long term death of the Republican Party.
Shots fired, again
What's with all the shootings? Is it because problem people get run out of one part of town and spread their hate to other areas?
