I urge adults to vote no on the smoking ban in April. I agree with the fact that smoking is bad and can cause life-threatening and even fatal health problems, but I don't agree that the government can tell a private or public business what they can or can't do. Take for example VFW Post 3838. They are an organization made up of veterans who risked their lives for their country, and if the smoking ban is passed, they -- our heroes -- couldn't even legally smoke in their own building. I personally think that the government shouldn't be this much involved in our personal affairs or influence the way we live.
