To the editor: I would like to thank everyone who helped make this year's fund raiser for the Women's Safe House, the Network Against Sexual Violence and the Cape Girardeau Police Department a success. Twenty-three families donated items to this year's cause and delivered the items to me, which I am extremely grateful for. This not only saved me a tremendous amount of time, but the money I normally would have used from the proceeds to reimburse myself for gasoline went to this cause instead...

I would like to thank everyone who helped make this year's fund raiser for the Women's Safe House, the Network Against Sexual Violence and the Cape Girardeau Police Department a success. Twenty-three families donated items to this year's cause and delivered the items to me, which I am extremely grateful for. This not only saved me a tremendous amount of time, but the money I normally would have used from the proceeds to reimburse myself for gasoline went to this cause instead.

I also had three families donate tables this year, which will be a blessing for years to come. The Jackson Wal-Mart helped out again by donating extra bags.

A special word of appreciation goes to my family and neighbors for tolerating my fund raisers. Without their patience, this endeavor would not be possible.

I would like to thank all who attended my fund raiser in spite of the unbearable heat. It was your unwavering patronage that ultimately made this fund raiser succeed.
