She knows how to let them be kids, but you can see the love and respect in her students' eyes when she is around. I have witnessed her dashing outside with forgotten lunchboxes.

She has always made time for me if I had any questions. She makes sure that the children who have summer birthdays get to celebrate during the school year.

Her name is Kathy Bishop, and she is a second-grade teacher at Alma Schrader. My son, Steven, has learned a lot this year, and we appreciate her very much.GAIL MEYER
