Students paying for River Campus

To the editor:As a Southeast Missouri State University student, I would like to thank president Ken Dobbins for the tuition increase that starts next year. Making ends meet while going to school full-time is hard enough as it is. Paying more for tuition because of a project (think River Campus) that should have never been started in the first place is infuriating. Dobbins and his crew built a ridiculous multimillion-dollar off-campus joke without having the funding to pay for it. How can this even be legal? Now he is jacking up tuition for the rest of the students to cover the shortfall. Isn't he accountable for this type of behavior? Am I the only one who feels that this is an injustice to the rest of us?
