I was looking at the news, and they said that now after the Fourth of July, the gas prices were going down, because now there's a little bit more adequate oil for us in a reserve type situation. Who are they trying to kid? We've had plenty of fuel all along, but we haven't tapped into it. ...
Oil reserves
I was looking at the news, and they said that now after the Fourth of July, the gas prices were going down, because now there's a little bit more adequate oil for us in a reserve type situation. Who are they trying to kid? We've had plenty of fuel all along, but we haven't tapped into it. Furthermore, Obama's wanting to house all these little kids instead of sending them right back to their home where they belong. That's ridiculous. That's government money. We can't even take care of our own kids.
Illegal immigration
Here we have all these people coming in illegally over the southern border. Our government is not doing a thing about it. The president wants $3.7 billion to house them and appoint judges for them. Here is the same president who cuts the military. He doesn't care if they get their pay, but yet we can feed all these people, give them medical care, give them judges and lawyers. I think we need to put somebody on the border, and as soon as Mexico lets them through, we should just let them go right back into Mexico.
Where are they?
I noticed a few years all these rock stars went to Ethiopia, saying we need to raise money to feed these children. Well, where are the rock stars now to help these illegal immigrants? You don't see Sting. Where's Bono, and those people like that?

Medical excuse?
Have you heard the latest? Thousands of people are going to the orthopedic doctors with shoulder injuries. It seems that pushing that arm down to turn on the turn signal, or pushing it up, is causing shoulder injuries. It must be, because people aren't using their turn signals. I guess it's shoulder problems. Why else wouldn't they be using their turn signals? You know, it's a courtesy to use the turn signal. That's all it is. It tells the driver behind you when you're going to turn right or turn left, or not using it at all means you're going to go straight. And it also can avoid an accident.
Food program
If Barack Obama's worried about getting money for food for those children coming across the border, just give them the food that our schools are throwing away that Michelle Obama implemented. I don't know how she did it. She's not elected into office, but somehow had this federal food nutrition program. Let these kids eat carrot sticks and celery for awhile.
Letters to the editor
A lot of excessive, needless verbiage contained in numerous effusive letters to the editor could be reduced by simply signing your name to an epistle that states, "Vote NO on any proposed tax increase."
