Fourth of July

What a wonderful Fourth of July celebration Cape Girardeau had downtown. It was great. Thank you to all who helped make it happen. Beautiful, beautiful program, fireworks. A great time to honor our country and our love of the country. We can't do that enough. Mary Kasten, congratulations. Well deserved. Thank you for being who you are in our country and others like you, as you said. Thank you for your message. Loved it.

'America' movie

Went to Wehrenberg Theater yesterday and saw the movie "America" that just came out. I would highly recommend that every person who can possibly see that movie go. It doesn't make any difference what your political affiliation is or your beliefs or anything else. But you need to go see the movie "America." I guarantee, you'll be glad that you did. And you'll come away feeling better about being an American. But go see "America" if at all possible.

Lebron, convention

Lebron James may return to Cleveland! But, much more importantly, the Republican National Convention will be held there!
