** Amazed by Charleston
I am amazed and blessed at the spirit of love, peace and forgiveness that prevails after the tragedy in Charleston, South Carolina. These individuals are examples as to how we should react to a terrible situation. Wouldn't it be wonderful if this same spirit would be present when a police officer did something wrong?
** Gun gift
I can't for the life of me understand why a father would give a boy turning 21 a revolver. They're made to kill. That's all they're good for. Defend yourself and kill somebody else.

** Unemployment
To the person who wanted to know how the employment could be at 5.5 percent, I was reading an article that said this was the percentage of people looking for jobs. Not included in this percentage are the millions who have given up on finding jobs.
** Pope props
