Butting in
LIMIT smoking in drive-throughs? What would smoking in someone's own car have to do with someone working at a drive-through window? I don't smoke, but I sure get tired of everyone butting into everyone else's life.
Wrong song
I just got back from my child's DARE graduation and was appalled by the song choice. They sang a country song about being drunk and calling your boyfriend/girlfriend at 1 o'clock in the morning because you can't be without them. What kind of message does that send to young children who were just told drinking and doing drugs are bad?
Leave it be
LT. Gov Peter Kinder needs to know that we don't want the government messing around with our new health care program.

I sincerely advise any schoolteachers or coaches who are taking class and team trips at this time of year to please call ahead to the restaurant where you will be eating to give a heads-up. It's courteous to the restaurant workers. When we get a bus that is unexpected, it can get pretty stressful.
Making decisions
ON April 20 15,000 people gathered at the University of Colorado to protest the illegality of marijuana. Three days later, one national news channel mentioned it. Four hundred people show up for a teabagger protest, and it's on every channel and the front pages of every newspaper. More than anything, AM radio has proved that people can be controlled by what they are exposed to. Maybe we should find the facts and make decisions for ourselves.

Right idea
I think Arizona has the right idea. If immigrants are here legally, what's wrong with them showing ID if asked? Is it racial profiling if I get asked for ID? No, because I am white and can't play the race card. If you want to live in the U.S., then become a citizen and learn to speak and read English.
Let us gamble
I wish Cape Girardeau would get a casino. A lot of older people would like to get out to play for an hour or two, get a good lunch and go home. If older people have money, let them spend it the way they want. You don't have to leave money for your children or grandchildren. Let them work for it like I and a lot of older people did. Bingo World is nearly full every night.
Do something
UNLESS we do something before next year, we are going to be in deep trouble. Stand up and do something to change the way our country is going right now. We have to stop this and take over our country. Everything in our country will be taken over by the government. We will have no personal life or choices left. Get out of your comfort zone and do something.
Park recycling
NOW that the city has provided recycling containers for every household, why don't we also have recycling cans in the shelters at the city parks?
Great column
WAY to go, David Limbaugh. Your April 27 column was one of your best. It was a magnificent explanation of President Obama's attitude toward our economy, how he think it works versus how it really works. If anyone missed this, please get it and read "Obama's profits allergy."
