Rush Limbaugh is right again. The next Democratic ticket will be Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton. But I don't think Clinton will want to come in second.
Whoever is writing hateful graffiti in the walking trail by Arena Park needs to stop and check themselves into a mental hospital. You are a threat to the families in the community. You have been reported to the police department. We will catch you; we will find you and prosecute you. Stop writing your graffiti on the walls.
Tacky, cheap and distasteful. I guess as long as Mrs. Obama is making her Oscars appearance, where does that leave Laura Bush when she did the same thing in 2002?
I see where they're turning prisoners loose and I see many of them are illegal immigrants. If they have to turn some loose, why don't they turn loose Americans who still have time left? They'll keep them on parole and know where they are, but illegals can never be found again.
I know everyone has an opinion on how the city should spend the casino money. I would hope reflective markers would be installed in the most heavily used street in the city. On William Street from Kingshighway to the interstate in bad weather it is impossible to see lane markings.
Can anyone tell me what there will be left for people to buy after they bring in robots? I don't think there can be anything after robots.
If we tap into all that natural gas and oil we will ruin the planet.
I think it was wrong to tear down the old handball court.
I was reading Speak Out about the so-called sin tax. I have a better suggestion; Let's tax stupid ideas. We'd accumulate a lot of money.
Just what are "we, the people" getting for the two night trip of Joe Biden, his wife and 136 team members that cost us $1 million? Has this bunch in the administration lost their minds? I know they have lost their sense of decency, and frugality. Why do we put up with such lavish spending on presidential and vice presidential trips overseas, or anywhere? Obama is on full campaign mode all the time, due to the fact he has no earthly idea about what to do with the economy, jobs, cutting the debts, and stopping the exponential growth of the federal government.
Congratulations to sponsor Chap Arnold whose Cape City League Division I team recently won the prestigious overall basketball championship. Led by MVP Seth McDowell and Jeffrey Beck, the team knocked off previously undefeated NARS and took home the first-place trophy. I have seen these guys play. They are tenacious and their commitment to a total team effort is amazing. In addition, they are, in my view, at least comparable to the finest basketball you'll see at the NCAA Division I level, if not better.
I am calling in regard to the Speak Out about the prescription drug addiction. The first thing you need to do is pray. The second thing you need to do is find the will to stop what you're doing. Then you need to get with your physician and tell him what it's doing to you and you need to taper down, and if he won't listen, go to a counselor. It can end. You can get out and have a life. It's about mind over matter, and a few months ago I wouldn't have been able to tell you this.
How come we have 12 million Americans unemployed, many of them veterans, and illegal immigrants working? Can it be because of profit? When you have an excess of cheap labor this tends to keep wages lower for all laborers.
Kudos to the city of Jackson for ending what I consider an unconstitutional appropriation of taxpayer money to an arm of the Republican Party, the Jackson Chamber of Commerce.
There are some vulgar ads that aren't very nice. I don't want to see a butt on an ad for a spa.
I think you're being a little derelict in your duty for failing to inform your readers that the Pachyderm Club is a Republican club and is, given the recent themes of its meetings and the speakers' rants, a rather far right-wing assembly of cranks and malcontents.
Why must he always make the case for charitable giving but then cast doubt on the recipients? The middle class and poor give almost three times as much of their income to charity than the rich, and it seems as if Mike Jensen wants the middle class and poor to give even more to those who are deserving according to Jensen's standards.
