You can go to any convenience store and at the counter by the cash registers are small bottles of liquor. You can purchase, drink and drive. Seems to me that instead of trying to stop impaired drivers, our laws are adding more. I saw a woman from out of state buy several bottles. I am sure these people that buy them are not just taking these home. More smart laws our legislators have passed.
A caller expressed disdain for teenage anti-gun demonstrators being provided armed protection. Given that thousands of vile threats have been made against these kids on the internet, this should be a no brainer. Theyve seen enough of their number brutally cut down in classrooms. At least grant them protection while expressing free speech in our Capital.
Its sad that a few low-information citizens think that producing new laws is an indicator of effective governing in our state.
Attempts to privatize the Veterans Administration so as to appease the Koch brothers is not surprising but still almost indescribably sickening.
The depths to which the left are willing to sink to try to depose a duly elected president are becoming astounding! People voluntarily put their every thought and belief on Facebook for the whole world to see and then get mad because a candidate legally gathers these publicly posted thoughts to plan his strategy. Do you not remember that Barack Obama had an office in the White House that did nothing but that? He routinely bragged about what a great job they did and they routinely went on national TV and talked about their job in the open. Its somehow now wrong? And as far as the president and the porn star story, which the media wants to spend so much time on. I have two words for you. Kennedy. Clinton.
If we had the money the Republican legislators just give too themselves and the 1 percent, we could have money to build new roads, bridges and whatever needed. But no. They want to raise the gas tax so the middle class and poor pay for it. Yet the 1 percent will benefit by driving their luxury cars and motor homes on those roads.
