There will never be racial harmony until there is forgiveness.

I have a suggestion. Why doesn't the city use some of the money to pay for the Fourth of July fireworks celebration to honor our country and veterans?
Foreign aid
I cannot understand what is going on in Washington. The president is going around saying everything takes place soon and the economy will start sinking. I saw in the news that we're giving $60 million to foreign governments. If we're so afraid of what's going on, why are we giving more money to foreign governments? Now doesn't seem like a time when we should give them money that we need for our own spending problems.

Blaming others
I could not believe the person who talked about President Obama bending over backward to get rid of sequestration, which was his idea a year ago. To say he had been reaching out to Republicans is a laugh. All he does is travel and talk to people as like- minded as he is. He doesn't reach out; he places blame on the Republicans for his idea.
Obama, GOP
I did not vote for Obama in the election, but I will say he couldn't do anything if his life depended upon it because the Republicans vote against everything he does. The Republicans won't let him pass anything. They better clean house next election.
Greedy
Where is former commissioner Jay Purcell when we need him? He saved the county all the money and never spent anything. Now they're going to charge for picnic shelter reservations and Christmas light displays. Don't that beat all? Talk about greedy.
