** Leadership void
Now ISIS is burning groups of people alive. It appears that they will continue to escalate the barbaric violence until someone stops them. Is there any level of barbarism where our liberal leadership will lay aside their rigid ideology and decide that enough is enough? Isn't there some point where rational people recognize the need to just do the right thing? It is sad and embarrassing to see what the U.S. has become under President Obama's "leadership."

** Toughen up, schools
We have become a nation of softies. A current example would be decisions to call off area schools because of a bit of snow and a cold snap. Why, when I was a youngster, I used to walk 50 miles to school every day, one way. In addition, during wintertime I had to endure wind chill factors (they weren't measured back in the day) of at least 200 degrees below zero. What has happened to our American exceptionalism?
