President Obama's approval rating may soar even higher on the news that he received blistering criticism in a speech given by Dick Cheney. Bad purchases The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department wants to use casino money to fix up its recent set of bad purchases. They want money to add to a subpar water park. They also want to spend more money on the softball/baseball fields that weren't leveled and seeded properly the first time. Nice money management, city of Cape Girardeau...

President Obama's approval rating may soar even higher on the news that he received blistering criticism in a speech given by Dick Cheney.

Limbaugh column
David Limbaugh is desperate for President Obama to get his "comeuppance." I think that speaks volumes. Limbaugh and his cabal of blowhard comrades have invested a lot over the years in a personal vendetta to try to rid us of the president, all to no avail. Limbaugh's last stand has sadly been reduced to a somewhat pitiful plea that " ... his [the president's] political day of reckoning is coming." Of course, Limbaugh's laundry list of criminal allegations against the president has received a thorough airing by the public and has been found to come up woefully short.
Immigration issues
Reports keep saying "illegal immigrants" will be allowed drivers licenses. If you read the list of things they must have, one item is a passport. That means they are "visiting immigrants." If you want to be upset, worry about the report that China has parents "visiting" the U.S. at the time their babies are born so the baby has U.S. citizenship. Then they go back to China but can return in the future as an American. To do what?
