I just read in the paper where Jackson was going to stop the illegal dumping of the yard waste in their city, and it said that they have no alternative dump spot. I can tell you where it will go. It will be on our county roads. They need to provide a place for people to dump this stuff or it will be dumped anywhere.
I had a look at the Breathe Easy Cape Girardeau website and was surprised to find they proudly list 66 Cape Girardeau restaurants offering 100 percent smoke free dining. It was a nice cross section of just about any cuisine one could want with several bar/restaurants also listed. These establishments have made a choice to operate their private business as they see fit without interference, just as others may choose to offer smoking sections. This law is against all things this town should stand for.
THE oil prices are going up, "because or economy is starting to recover." Since gas prices were the reason for the economic crash, does this make any sense? Evil flourishes when good men do nothing.
I would like to hear some comments from medical doctors in Cape Girardeau on the smoking issue. They have been strangely silent. Funny, when I go in their office, they love to nag the smokers and overweight people to quit the cigarettes and fatty food. I don't think I have heard one doctor's opinion on this issue.
