Hopper Road

I have been looking forward to the new Hopper Road opening for months as I assumed they were going to straighten out that horrible curve before you went over the overpass. What disappointment I had when I drove on it yesterday (Nov. 28). They took a mess and replaced it with a mess. Who are we paying to design things like this? Leaving it the way it was, was better than this!

Move on

This is addressed to those who have strong anti-Trump sentiments. There were many Americans who thought Barack Obama’s liberal agenda moved the country too far in the wrong direction. However, with restraint and dignity, they waited patiently for the eight-year nightmare to end. The silent majority has spoken. Get over it and move on.

Smoky Mountain fire

Yes, our country is being destroyed because of the global warming deniers. All across the united States we have had fires, flood, tornadoes. It is costing billions of dollars as well as lives lost. All because of the greedy federal and state legislators. They don’t care as long as they can put money in their pockets. May God help the people. I can’t ask that for them.
