Obama beats Clinton

I thought Bill Clinton was the worst president we ever had, but I think Barack Obama has him topped.

Fix the ramp

The off-ramp from I-55 to William Street has holes in it that should be fixed before people's tires start bursting.

Broken promise

President Obama promised that if you like your health care plan, you can keep it. It turns out that's not true. Mandated coverage on carriers has forced insurers to cancel their existing policies.

License notices

Hey Jackson people: Check your license plates. Has anyone noticed lately all of the summons that are being issued for expired tags on vehicles? Yes, mine expired, too. I had fully expected to receive my notice from the Department of Revenue that notifies me my tags were expired but never got one. A family member informed me my tags were expired, so I contacted the License Bureau. I was told that they are NOT required to send renewal notices. I commented on how I had received these notices for the past 30 years, and they informed me that is was just a common courtesy, on their part but they are not required to mail out the notices. Check your tags! No notices are being mailed, and the cops are eating this up!

Sox shaving?

Since the Red Sox won the World Series, I was wondering whether they are going to shave their beards or be stand-ins for "Duck Dynasty"?

Pause

People need to take a deep breath, calm down and relax. All of the computer glitches with healthcare.gov and other websites should lead us to pause, not panic and very slowly proceed to dismantle the Internet.

Iraq vs. Benghazi

U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham: Where were you when Bush declared war in Iraq with lies of weapons of mass destruction? There were 4,000 American soldiers killed, plus thousands more wounded and thousands more of the Iraq people. You keep harping over Benghazi, where there were only four killed. You are such a shame to be considered a U.S. senator.

Crying shame

For an officer to assume everyone in the Show Me Cannabis meeting is a drug abuser on welfare is a crying shame.

Cards fan

I know the St. Louis Cardinals didn't win the World Series this year, but they will always be my team. Go Cards!
