A political advertisement mailed to me shows Roy Blunt's travel guide to China. It proclaims he sent Missouri jobs to China. But then I looked at who the mailing was from and it was the American Federation of State and County Municipal Workers. This is a union. That's who sent our jobs overseas. Excessive regulation has caused companies to leave. This would cause me to vote for Mr. Blunt...

I, along with my wife, son and all of our neighbors that live out in the county, voted against county planning and zoning years ago. We do not want a charter form of government in the county.

EVERYONE should read Dr. Kamath's article printed in the Southeast Missourian on Sept. 23. This psychiatrist tells exactly how it is going to be if Cape Girardeau gets a gambling casino.

Casino not a problem

THE article in the Southeast Missourian by Dr. Kamath refers to children being subjected to the evils that the gambling casino could possibly bring. If you're going to point the finger, point the finger at the legislature. Do not try to take away what could be something that saves Cape Girardeau from dying off like other cities.
