Not the Pat Patterson in article

To the editor:

Regarding Friday's article, "Partisan crowds: Area supporters came out to cheer on their favorite": I am the owner of Pat Patterson Photography. Many people, especially Republicans for whom I have made portraits, have questioned me in regard to the unflattering remarks about President Bush's attitude during Thursday's debate.

I want all readers to know that I am not the person who made that comment. I am not the "New Jersey transplant" who was quoted in the story. Apparently there is more than one Pat Patterson in Cape Girardeau. I want to nip in the bud any confusion caused by the article, even though it was unintended, I am sure.
