MUSIC EMBASSADORS ARE TOURING EUROPE

There are 172 Missouri musicians, mostly students and their directors, touring Europe right now as the Missouri Ambassadors of Music, one of 40 such groups from around the nation. They are under the overall direction of Dr. Robert Gifford, professor of music at Southeast Missouri State University.

Most of the young participants will learn valuable lessons on the 16-day tour, starting with how to raise $3,000 each to pay for the trip.

The tour is a wonderful opportunity for the musicians, and we know they will represent Missouri well as they perform and tour interesting cities and sites.
